    Something for Everyone in Singapore

    By Alexis Singapore is confusing to me. It’s just a difficult place to categorize… For places like Hong Kong or Japan, I can close my eyes and easily conjure a snapshot in my head of how these countries look, picturing them instantly. But even after spending three days (granted, they were mostly working, less touring days) in Singapore, I still don’t feel like I have a strong grasp on the country.     We’ve Been Featured in Bizarre Culture

    By David Happy Monday! Alexis and I got to Singapore last night and it is not at all what we expected. We pictured a modern, sterile, rather boring-looking city. What we see right outside our hostel window, however, is a street that could have been plucked straight from New Orleans. It’s very funky, French colonial. I dig it. Perhaps that’s just the neighborhood we’re in, though. We’ll have to revisit this once we’ve seen more…
